In
April 2011 we purchased Ashmore Cottage and decided to redevelop it
into the Richmond Gallery and Accommodation
The result is a delightful property
consisting of a gallery/shop in the front and modern, self contained,
accommodation at the back.

Built in the 1830s from
convict-made bricks, Ashmore Cottage is a restored heritage-listed
Georgian cottage in the main street of historic Richmond. Sleeping up
to five, the cottage has two bedrooms and all the facilities for an
extended stay.

Settle
in for a night at home or wander along the street to take in the
galleries, cafes and amazing history of Australia’s
best-preserved colonial village. The cottage has been refurbished and
decorated by one of Hobart's leading interior designers who has managed
to combine 'French Country' appeal while providing modern
self-contained comfort.
